Play Therapy
What is Play Therapy?
Play therapy is a form of therapy that uses play to communicate with and help people, especially children, to express their feelings and experiences in a natural, self-guided way through the natural way of communication of play. Play therapy is thought to help children develop better social skills, develop skills, regulate emotions and resolve the impacts of trauma. Many families seek play therapy for the children as a way to increase coping during times of significant change.
