Esanju Bonga

MEd., Registered Psychotherapist, CCC, OCT, CFWA

Esanju has worked with children, teens, and adults facing a vast array of challenges in various contexts for over 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and in recent years, a certificate in family wealth advising. As a psychotherapist, the central areas of her training have been in emotional self-regulation, anxiety, depression, and financial therapy.

Financial therapy involves working with members of family businesses, those who have experienced sudden wealth, and those feeling isolated by significant wealth. The purpose is to explore the individual’s relationship with money, how that relationship impacts day-to-day life, and their relationship with others.

Esanju is invested in helping others find their voice so that they can discover healthy ways to express themselves in their relationships. She considers it an honour to walk alongside those who want to get unstuck and recalibrate on the road to wellness. Key to the success of therapy is the establishment of an atmosphere and space where individuals feel heard and respected; acquiring a sense of hope and direction is at the core of her practice. All are welcome without judgment.
